Established in 2005, Golden Phoenix Restaurant is a family run business serving the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. We are known for our buffet and customer service in the area. You can come over with your friends and family for a wide variety of food.
Our restaurant has won the Consumer Choice Award for seven years in a row. We take pride in changing our buffet throughout the day and on the weekends, giving everyone a new experience at every visit. You can come for lunch and dinner on the same day and still enjoy two completely different meals!
What sets us apart from the competition is the fact that all our food is homemade and freshly prepared on-site. We do not use frozen food that arrives by the truckload. You can savour fresh food that does not contain MSG anytime at our restaurant. Our buffet changes throughout the week, so you will never have the same meal twice.
If you love enjoying good food in the comfort of your home, you can also order through our takeout menu that offers some of our staples. We like to keep most of our classic and popular dishes on the menu but are always trying on new things to give you that extra. Being Newfoundland’s largest buffet master, we take pride in the many dishes we offer and there are just too many to count!

The reputation that we have earned is because of our chefs who focus on authentic Chinese food selection. We also specialize in a wide variety of Canadian dishes. We have an outstanding staff of 25 and our chefs have been with us since we opened over 10 years ago.

You can also find a roast beef serving station, shrimp and barbeque section, and so much more to give. We have a candy bar and an ice cream section where the young charmers can relish on their sweet tooth while the family elders can sip on their bubble tea. We also serve alcohol at our restaurant. So, stop in for a quick bite or a family meal. We assure you a completely unique experience of taste.

We have our Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR programs to give back to society. The food industry is not the only thing we focus on. We believe that it is important to be active within the community.
